Marolina discovers the value of a friend

Marolina was the most popular girl at school. Everyone wanted to be around her because she always had the newest things: games, music and shiny devices. She was well known in the neighbourhood too, although she hardly ever spoke to her neighbours. One day she threw a big party and invited many people from school, but no neighbours. Suddenly the music player shut down, and the guests, instead of helping, ran away so they would not be blamed. Marolina was left alone and in tears. From their house, Borislov and Bradislav saw what happened, crossed the street and knocked on her door. Patiently, Bradislav got the music playing again. "You did not know me, but you helped me," said Marolina. And Bradislav answered that the most important thing is not having many friends, but having truly sincere ones.
